About Dr. J. Kirk Grynwald

Dr. Grynwald learned the importance of hand surgery in his years of residency and witnessing the patient satisfaction from returning function to such a vital instrument for daily activity. His greatest work satisfaction comes in helping patients get back to work or resume hobbies after injury or disease.

Dr. Grynwald earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, and completed a surgical residency at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, W.V. He completed hand and microsurgery fellowships with Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Ky., and with Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

Away from the office Dr. Grynwald enjoys spending time with his three children. He is an avid cyclist and competes in mountain biking as well as cyclocross. He enjoys traveling and learning first-hand about other cultures.
