About Dr. Andrew “Gunter” Cain
Andrew “Gunter” Cain, MD, is a fellowship-trained anesthesiologist specializing in non-surgical spine care and interventional spine and pain management procedures. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Cain completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he served as Chief Resident. He further advanced his expertise with a fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of North Carolina Hospitals Department of Anesthesiology in Chapel Hill.
Dr. Cain is deeply involved in the assessment and diagnosis process for spine and chronic pain-related conditions. He works closely with surgical and therapy colleagues to develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at helping patients return to their activities and improve their quality of life.
As a pain management and non-surgical spine care expert, Dr. Cain provides innovative solutions for chronic back and neck pain. With over a decade of experience in pain medicine and anesthesiology, Dr. Cain is dedicated to providing patient-centered care to individuals suffering from chronic pain, emphasizing minimally invasive interventions to enhance well-being and restore function.
