Heather Martin, APRN is passionate about providing holistic, passionate care to her patients. Throughout her fourteen-year nursing career, she has experience in outpatients’ surgery and inpatient medical surgical care. Most recently before joining OrthoArkansas, she was the primary provider in a family practice.

She has spent her career dedicated to and focused on the patient.  “My desire as a nurse practitioner is to provide comprehensive care that is individualized for each patient.  I strive to provide an environment where each patient feels included, seen, heard, and cared for.”

Heather received her family nurse practitioner master’s degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2017 and her Bachelor of Science degree, also from UAMS in nursing in 2010.

Heather is a native Arkansan and lives with her husband, Wesley, in Bald Knob.  Together they raised five children.  One of her greatest joys is spending time with her granddaughter, Elloise.
